E-Learning
Online learning provides a much faster, more cost-efficient way to
deliver training than traditional classroom methods. Backed by
compelling data, e-learning is expected to grow at an incredibly fast
rate over the next few years - demanding a larger share of corporate
training expenditures. Already successfully implemented by a vast
number and variety of companies (every genre: from service, to
high-tech, to utilities), e-learning is on the radar of every major
company - worldwide. |

Business and
Education Partnerships
American business played a secondary role in education partnerships
before 1990, according to the 1990 National School District Partnership
Survey conducted by the National Association of PARTNERS IN EDUCATION.
Parent organizations were the primary players. When the survey measured
the frequency of partnerships between school districts, small
businesses registered higher involvement than medium and large
corporations, but even their involvement was slightly less than half
that of parent organizations. During the past ten years, businesses of
all sizes have closed the gap. |
