Two decades after starting at MONEY as a reporter, Caren Weiner Campbell returned to the magazine in November 2007 in the role of Special Projects Editor. She spent much of the time between MONEY stints in editorial positions at Spy, Entertainment Weekly, InStyle and the Zagat Survey family of guidebooks. Nowadays she manages and edits MONEY's signature franchises and projects, including the annual Best Places to Live, Best Jobs and Best Mutual Funds special reports, as well as overseeing the magazine's out-of-town correspondents.
Campbell also spent several years as a freelance magazine writer and editor; her work has appeared on the newsstand and the Web in such venues as AARP the Magazine, All You, Bankrate.com, Entertainment Weekly, InStyleWeddings.com, Interweave Knits, The New York Times, Real Simple, Salon.com and Us.
She lives in a tiny Manhattan apartment with her husband, two dogs and a cat.
