Carolyn Bigda is a writer-reporter at MONEY. She joined the magazine in 2004 and today covers credit, savings and debt. She also writes a weekly syndicated column for the Chicago Tribune, tackling personal-finance issues for twenty-somethings. Bigda has been featured in live and taped interviews on ABC, CNN and affiliate stations including WCBS and WNBC, as well as several radio stations.

Bigda holds a bachelor's degree in political science from Northwestern University and a master's degree in journalism from New York University. She lives in Brooklyn.
