Maggie Overfelt is an editor and writer at FSB: Fortune Small Business Magazine. She joined FSB in 1999 as a technology reporter and now covers a wide range of topics including government contracting and regulation, alternative sports, and fast-growth strategies.

A graduate of the University of Minnesota – Twin Cities, Overfelt holds a B.A. in journalism. She started her career as a freelance writer for City Pages in Minneapolis before moving on to cover software as a staff researcher for PC Magazine. Overfelt is a native of Half Moon Bay, Calif.
