Todd Woody is a senior editor for FORTUNE, where he oversees Fortune.com's West Coast news operation and writes about green technology for the magazine and his Green Wombat online column.
Woody previously developed and edited feature stories for Business 2.0 magazine.
Prior to joining Business 2.0, Woody served as Business Editor of the San Jose Mercury News. Woody's responsibilities included management of a 30-person business news department for the metro daily of Silicon Valley. He earlier was an assistant business editor at The Sacramento Bee and previous posts included the positions of senior writer and senior editor at The Industry Standard magazine, freelance writer for Wired magazine in Australia and a senior writer and environmental reporter at The Recorder, a San Francisco legal daily.
Woody is an honors graduate of the Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism in New York, and received a Bachelor of Arts in Politics from the University of California, Santa Cruz.
