Michal Lev-Ram joined FORTUNE as a reporter in September 2007.
Previously, she was a writer at Business 2.0, where she covered the wireless industry for the publication.
Before that, she worked as a freelance writer for Business 2.0 as well as other national publications, including ELLEGirl and Modern Bride, and covered the advertising industry, media and social networking sites as associate editor of LOUD Magazine, a startup quarterly for teens co-founded by Laurene Powell Jobs (a.k.a. Steve Job's wife).
She earned her bachelor's degree in journalism from San Francisco State University in 2004, along with a minor in music and dance.
