Lee Clifford edits features and the Business Life section at FORTUNE. She also oversees the annual Best Places to Work and Business Life issues.

She joined FORTUNE in May 2000 as a writer-reporter covering investing and retail. From 2002-2005 she edited the First section. In 2003 and 2004 she was named to TJFR's "30 Under 30" list of top business journalists under the age of 30.

Prior to joining FORTUNE, Clifford was a staff reporter at SmartMoney magazine.

She has a B.A. in history from Columbia University.
