Steve previously lived and worked in Bangkok and Istanbul, freelance writing and teaching English, and has been published in the Village Voice and the Australian Financial Review. He has also worked as a municipal beat reporter at a daily newspaper in Brunswick, Maine and as a freelancer for Portland's alternative weekly covering city politics. Steve graduated from St. Lawrence University. He currently lives in Brooklyn and recently took up tennis.
