Pasadena, California

The FORTUNE Most Powerful Women Summit was launched in 1999 to provide a forum for women of power and influence who are changing the business landscape. Developed with the guidance of FORTUNE editors and the input of our participants, the MPWomen Summit has become the premiere gathering of influential women. It has grown to include leaders all over the world-women of power in business, the arts, government, and philanthropy.
The seventh annual MPWomen Summit will convene a group of prominent and global-minded women from both the for-profit and nonprofit worlds. We'll share ideas and insights about the most important issues of the day, and we'll talk about how we can lead our organizations better and make a more positive difference in the world. The event is interactive, featuring conversations rather than speeches. It's inspiring, giving you valuable ideas to take home.

CEOs Brenda Barnes of Sara Lee, Andrea Jung of Avon, Dawn Lepore of drugstore.com, Susan Lyne of Martha Stewart Living Omnimedia, Marge Magner of Citigroup Global Consumer Group, Pat Mitchell of PBS, Ann Moore of Time Inc., Anne Mulcahy of Xerox, Pat Russo of Lucent, Meg Whitman of eBay, plus Paramount Pictures President Gail Berman, Yahoo CFO Sue Decker, Unilever Pakistan Chairman Musharaf Hai, Starbucks EVP Dorothy Kim, African Bank Investment's Dawn Marole, Ann Richards, Mary Robinson, Rockefeller Foundation President Judith Rodin, Diane Sawyer, Universal Pictures Chairman Stacey Snider, Lesley Stahl, Martha Stewart, Anna Deavere Smith, and Frances Townsend, assistant to the president for homeland security.
