GLOBAL FORUM 2005
China and the New Asian Century
May 16-18, 2005

Venue

The FORTUNE Global Forum convenes each year in a location that is a focal point of international interest. In 2005, CEOs throughout the world will come together in Beijing, the capital city of the world's most dynamic economy, the center of political and economic power in China, home of the 2008 Olympics, and a city rich in history. This is the ideal place to explore this year's theme, "China and the New Asian Century."

The Forum will be headquartered at the Peninsula Palace and St. Regis Beijing hotels. Global Forum business sessions will be held at the Diaoyutai State Guesthouse, an idyllic park complex amid the metropolis of Beijing. The Diaoyutai's history dates back to the Jin Dynasty (1113- 1234). Since 1959, the Diaoyutai has played host to Heads of State, government leaders, and celebrities.
