FORTUNE CEO Strategies Summit
November 13-15, 2006
Scottsdale, Arizona

Perspectives on Strategy, Execution, and Performance

Overview

CEOs live or die by the decisions they make. Decision-making is a core skill for occupants of the corner office, and the best outcomes result from a series of decisions that are consistently well-executed and well-implemented.

Corporate leaders—whether they head large or small companies or divisions, or are transitioning into such a position—can benefit from insight into how good leaders make the tough choices and bold moves that help them successfully navigate their organizations into the future. The FORTUNE CEO Strategies Summit was developed to help corporate leaders better understand the art of decision-making with regard to strategy, execution, and performance from the CEO's perspective.

The focus of this new Summit is on the real and the actionable. The program is designed to provide examples of high-level decision-making in action, insight into the minds of successful leaders, and interaction with peers across a wide variety of industries. Seasoned CEOs will talk candidly about getting strategy right, putting it to work, keeping it on track, and assessing the results. They'll also share hard-won lessons from tackling a variety of obstacles and challenges. Leading management experts will look at the success factors for CEOs and how to learn from deliberate mistakes. Informal Night Cap sessions will enable speakers and participants to continue the day's discussions into the evening.
