Overview
The No. 1 concern on directors' minds today is to how to gain a better understanding of the direction in which their companies are going and the markets in which they operate. FORTUNE will convene the 2006 Boardroom Forum in Chicago, June 22-23 to explore the evolving interrelation of "Strategy, the Board, and the CEO" and how boards and CEOs can collaborate to create enduring value for their companies.
Each year, this event brings board members of leading companies together with regulators, experts, and peers across industries for a top-level view of the most important issues and developments in governance. These discussions will be facilitated by Geoff Colvin, Senior Editor at Large, FORTUNE, and an expert on corporate governance. Participants will exchange views and examine best practices relating to how the board and CEOs are partnering on risk management, succession planning, strategy, and problem solving.
